Are you looking for a fun family-friendly holiday event? Is your favorite color Christmas lights?
Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday light spectacular that is currently at Wickham Park every night until January 3rd. Over 3 million lights adorn this whimsical 1.1 mile long ride, showcasing incredible displays of what Florida is famous for, classic holiday characters, and animated scenes that will make even the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes. A pavilion along the path has a COVID friendly Santa stop and goodies for sale until December 24, when Old Saint Nick needs to report back to the North Pole.
Santa’s Village is located at the end of the tour with fun photo ops, a cow train ride, a movie on a projector, and what winter wonderland would be complete without hot cocoa and cookies?
If you would rather walk through the light display, there is a stroll weekend December 4-6th. The gates open at 4:30, Santa arrives at 5:00 and the lights come on from 6:30pm-10:00pm. No vehicles will be permitted and the cost is $5 a person. This is a leashed pet friendly event and the stroll is paved, making it fully wheelchair accessible as well.
