On Wednesday, September 19, 2018 we hosted our annual Children’s Miracle Network event at Riverside Cafe.
The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icon. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
We had raffle items to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Our awesome preferred vendors, and amazing friends donated some great gifts. We had a Stellar Lite fishing rod & reel from Caliber Home Loans, a gift basket from Lott Insurance, a $50 Starbucks gift card, a mug and chocolates from WIN Home Solutions, a $25 Starbucks gift card / $25 Panera gift card from First American Title, a $25 Carrabba’s gift card from Stewart Title Company, a Complimentary golf for 4 from Vero Beach Country Club, a 1 year fire ant free gift card from SandPiper Pest Control, a $25 gift card for Publix and Assorted kitchen items, and a RE/MAX Associated gift basket.
10% of all the proceeds were donated by Riverside Cafe from the drinks and food that were ordered. In the mix of all the laughs, photos, great food and cocktails we raised more than $500 in our personal raffles and the money that was donated from Riverside Cafe.
